Pinks, and soundscapes

Got home late, turned on the radio, wonderful World Service. A programme titled "Hush" about the US National Parks Service Soundscape and other projects to rediscover and record the world before and without the noise of the combustion engine.

I take great pleasure from just standing and absorbing the sounds of the 'silent' natural world - the cycle path at 7.30am is particularly good just now.

So i stepped outside to catch the last of our garden soundscape.
