Today my class completed another part of their John Muir Award. We were down at the beach carrying out a beach clean. The beach was actually pretty clean. There are so many groups now who do this after “Blue Planet “ They did find small bits of plastic and lots of glass. It was a 2.3 mile round trip, uphill back to school so the kids were tired this afternoon. I had a parent information evening for new P4’s coming up in August. It was a packed hall and very warm. I am teaching P4 after a long time in P6 and P7. So it will a steep learning curve for me! Glad to get home as it was a long day.
