Dr in the house...

...after all the excitement of his birthday that wee lad was a bit “hingy” this morning...just not himself. His Daddy took his temp and it was running a wee bit high so some medicine was administered. He then went round us all taking our temperatures.

He brightened up for a wee walk and scoot along the promenade, he’s still a devil on that scooter :-). But flagged a bit when we went to Railway Street for a spot of lunch before we had to head for the boat and say farewell to him and his Daddy for a wee while again.

Es and I enjoyed the goats cheese Bruschetta very much in Railway Street...yum yum.

A calm crossing and a decent drive up the road.

MrR has made a lasagne for the party yesterday in case the weather didn’t play ball and we couldn’t BBQ. Grateful that we brought portions of that home for dinner this evening...a quick warm through made for a quick dinner and then bed.

A grand weekend, back to school and work tomorrow.
