Dolphin delight!

Well, once again this was not my intended blip!! I was going for a shot from the pier over the city in the morning light, when a pod of Dolphins came swimmimg past.
This is not an outstanding photo - they did nothing dramatic like surfing or jumping out of the water...
but it was food for the soul to watch these beautiful creatures gracefully swimming and to hear them communicating with each other. What better start to the day.
And to end my day I have just been watching whales from the cliff tops where I live, breaching and lob-tailing and given us a spectacular display...what a day and what a privilege.
