Watching The World Go By

Went for a quick trip to Chasewater Country Park today.  Had to wait in for a parcel that needed a signature, but it came quite early and it seemed a shame to waste such a lovely day.  There were lots and lots of swans, mallards, Canada geese.  Saw a real battle between three male mallards, presumably over a female, a runner duck tried to join in, but they sent him away..   loved this swan, who was by himself away from the water, just standing there so upright and watching the world go by.

Update on the squirrel who was unable to find how to get at the seed in the round feeder (blip on Sunday 3rd June ).  He has got it sorted, suspected it was him on Monday.  Today we caught him red handed.with his head right inside it.
