Narcissistic selfie of myself coming from the beach. Had to have a quick swim before rain and possible thunders, which we could hear somewhere in the distant. You can see the fabulous cloud formations behind. I actually had some bread for the fish and a camera, but before thunder the wind got stronger and the bread pieces just run too far too soon for me to see anything.

Also have been cleaning a lot. The construction next door and opposite create a lot of dust which really bugs me. As well as the noise. Noise is not even strong enough word to describe what we have been experiences over a month now. This is pure torture. Our front yard was covered with dust before the rain as they saw metal in the yard next to us. I do not enjoy this.

We lost our Spanish TV today. Don't know if it was due to the thunder near us or construction work around us. We'll see. So back to Netflix.

I did manage some sewing too today. But not much. Did burn one tick that was found on Amadeus when it started to walk on my hand. That got burned fast. (You do know you have to burn them, right? If you just flush them they end up in the nature again and make millions of babies.)

What else? Well, I'm happy the the new PM of Spain has appointed lots of women as ministers and also appointed the equality minister after some time that there wasn't one (to my understanding). I really enjoy seeing 12 / 18 women in charge. Most of the people (haven't read everyone's CV) seem to have very impressing academic careers. I really hope they are the "outside the political box" choices and are not corrupt and will not be bribed and really want to do some good for all with the new power and possibilities. But so happy about this change for people to do good and change the corrupt system that Spain has had since dictatorship. From that they seemed to use the same corrupt system in a Kingdom. Elite has taken so much and the citizens have paid for it. It honestly is time for change.

Ps. The sun was still shining when we headed out to the beach and I did know it was going to rain. But when you go swimming, it doesn't really matter if you get a bit wet, right?
