A Summer’s walk along the River Avon, Bath

Such a beautiful day, cool to start with but it sooner warmed up as my Bus Challenge friend and I walked along the riverside path, from the outskirts of Bath into town, ending up at Pulteney Bridge. Along the way, we passed old warehouses now converted into swanky flats and offices, boats of all descriptions, a newly planted riverside area full of gorgeous wild flowers, churches, bridges, seagulls, Georgian architecture, and reflections galore. And we more or less had the footpath to ourselves, such a peaceful walk, hard to believe that we were walking through the bustling city that is Bath...
