Hawthorn

An early morning visit to the dentist. The road conditions were awful ... school traffic, temporary lights, road works and the like .... a journey that usually takes between 15 and 20 minutes took nearly 40 .... I arrived with a minute to spare and was on my way home again within 15 minutes.

The hawthorn blossom is the best I have seen for many years ..... the trees and hedgerows are covered with these small white flowers.

I'm awaiting the arrival of Togbe who is coming to stay for two nights and I know that we will just have go out with the frisbee .... but that will be tomorrow when I hope that it might not be quite so hot.
