Christening party

Our little granddaughter was christened this morning in our tiny church where T was also christened and married.  The vicar duly dunked a scallop shell of water over her head and annointed her with oil without any noisy reactions from the little person.   It was a hot day and she loves water so it was probably quite refreshing for her.  Followed by  a lunch party with all their friends sitting out on the lawn. There were about six or seven babies of about the same age, they sat under the canopy quite happily eating and playing - not a squeal was heard!  A happy occasion.
