Naked Trees

As I haven't gone further than the garden today, the blip was either the garden or the cat - and the garden won this time because of the blue sky.

What a difference two weeks makes in a garden in autumn - compare it here with today's view. I swear that every single leaf from these trees and a lot more you can't see has landed on our lawns, so we were out today with the new leaf vacuum, the rake, the broom and the large plastic "hands". Between them all, we've cleared most of the leaves, but have left some piled in the borders to provide a home for wildlife over the winter.

Now we're going to fight over who gets into a hot bath first:)
