an old cynic's view

This could be any major City in UK

But as usual its in Glasgow Kinning Park to be precise.
In the heyday of ship building and heavy engineering this was one ofthe most dense centres of population.

This building is what's left of Our Lady and St. Margaret's Church in Stanley St., the presbytery in fact. I'm surprised it hasn't been demolished already considering not only its condition but also its location, which is really just a dead end on the edge of the motorway surrounded by industrial buildings. There used to be a massive primary school right next to it, also called Our Lady and St. Margaret's, which was pulled down a few years ago. Both church and school originally served the a area - now of course not a soul lives there anymore
