Bank vole on my lawn

The bank voles that have been eating their way through my lawn came out yesterday evening. There at least three of them, and I thought they were solitary!

They took little notice of me, as long as I was quiet and moved very slowly. The silent shutter on my camera was essential.

I'm still undecided if I should try and trap and remove them. They are quite cute, but I doubt they would stick to any agreement to limit their activities. Strange that we've had them in the garden before (perhaps always) without much visible impact.
