Foraging in the city

At Christmas Cailean gave Cathleen & I , amongst other things, a voucher for dinner at the Gardener’s Cottage on London Rd , just down the hill from my Edinburgh flat.

We finally managed to sort out a date and went tonight. The meal was eclectic and excellent and the emphasis on foraging and local ingredients was impressive. Indeed as we left we realised that the sweet cecily- a feature of two courses in the tasting menu - was growing all around.
