Yep, another of these. Well, it was a very sunny day, so there were frequent dips. And I dipped into new book too. Unwinnable, by Theo Farrell. Britain’s War in Afghanistan 2001-2014. I read somewhere that it was a magisterial study. That appealed very greatly. But hopefully not so dense that I can’t knock it off in a couple of days. Yes, yes, the book, not me. Lordy, I fear my humour is getting a bit obvious and pensioner-by-numbers.
