Posh Scarecrow

Spotted this elegant scarecrow statue on the U3A walk this morning. We could do with something like this to scare the rooks and jackdaws away from our bird table.

Had a nice lunch afterwards in The Five Alls in Filkins village.  It was suggested the five alls were - the queen (who governs all), a bishop (who prays for all), a lawyer (who pleads for all), a soldier (who fights for all) and a farmer (who pays for all). 

A few of us had the £12 fishcake, very nice but the clue was in the name as there was just one. Someone said it could do with something to go with it, I suggested another fishcake maybe.
