Soaking up the early morning sun!

The water levels are dropping ..... no significant rain for weeks. The birds are now preening and snoozing on hard baked ground that used to be under water.

A great day for washing sheets and hanging them out on an old fashioned washing line .... I'm very lazy and usually hang my washing on the even more old fashioned pulley which I love.

An early start tomorrow. I'm heading to the pottery festival at Scone Palace with Noni and Helpet57.
