The Old Mill

Lower Slaughter is probably the kind of place that typifies the rural England that we all dream of. It's on the River Eye and has apparently been inhabited for 1000 years. The Old Mill has an undershot mill wheel and a chimney for additional steam power. There's a very beautiful church, a riverside pub and no end of pretty cottages in honey coloured Cotswold stone.
