Condemned House Seeking Help from Above?

Only three or four years ago, this was a beautiful home in our neighbourhood. That was before the last of the two old sisters living there passed away, and the house rapidly started decaying. Now it may be demolished any day and replaced by one (or several) of those boring, contemporary boxes they call housing today.
