Thursday on Lewis

Too hot today. Wall to wall sunshine and no clouds.

I went to Mealasta and sat watching the waves breaking on a deserted beach. It’s impossible to think of anything. Bliss.

This afternoon Arabella and David from Northton brought John who has been staying there. I’m going there on Sunday and Arabella has already organised my evening meal for me. I’m going to like it at their B&about.

When hazelh, Mrhazelh and ridgeback arrived we went for a walk and a paddle on the beach here. Warm water and sand between our toes.

Cullen skink, pork warpath apricot stuffing, roast potatoes and roast parsnips with asparagus followed by banana ice cream and toffee sauce. I can’t move!
