Loughrigg Tarn

The second unaccompanied day. We stayed together as a group and started with a visit to Loughrigg Tarn for three hours. As you can see the weather is still being kind to us ... although creating some interesting photography challenges. 

After our picnic lunch we move on to Blea Tarn (see extra), stopping at a cafe on the way. We had another couple of hours out, but trying to avoid sunbathers in our photos was tricky. On the way home we stopped for a drink at a local pub.

This evening we walked into the village for the evening meal, then returned to share our photos together without the official input.
