Grass Green

It wasn't until I looked at this image on the back of the camera that I noticed, in addition to the pretty green damselfly, I'd also captured a grass bug. What wonderful camouflage, it's exactly the same shape as the ears of grass. Ox-eye daisies are in the background, they're beautiful at the moment. Dog roses are already past their best. :(

I took my son to catch the tube/train to Gatwick. He's off to Cannes and all points east. We saw the bird of prey in its regular place on the telegraph pole in Epping Green. When I came back two big birds were up there! Shame I didn't have the camera with me.
