Last trip

The sleeper journey was one of the best I've had although the add ons seen to have gone downmarket.

To the office by 8 and did some work in the agile working area before heading off to the meeting which was, well the best bit was the wine and harissa nuts in GNH bar afterwards.

The train was very busy and broken. There was no trolley and it was 35 minutes late. Should have flown? I spent the rebate on a taxi home.

I realised about an hour in that it was my last trip on Virgin Eastcoast. In July it will be LNER. The staff and rolling stock will be the same, only the branding (and ownership) will change. What a farce. Bring back British Rail!!
