Our collection of towel animals

Each night on the cruise we were left a towel animal on the bed. I collected them up and sat them all on the back of the sofa. They are all very sweet.

Tonight was very rough on the boat. The hurricane had passed ahead of us but was causing huge waves and 80mph winds. Was very scary. The captain came over the intercom into the rooms at 12.30 in the middle of the night to tell us to stay in our rooms, it wasn't safe to be in the public areas. It was awful. We had just settled down to sleep and turned the light out when it got really rough- a glass slid off the table by my bed and smashed into the wall. It was just after that it got really rough and then the captains announcement. Scary stuff.
