Kingfisher
I had planned to Blip on the weekends if possible and things have gone so smoothly this week I have been able to blip a bit earlier. It is good because I would hate to have not been able to blip this kingfisher I saw today.
A large component of my course at this stage is exercise. Participants are allowed to have their own choice of cardio so I chose walking. It was a smart decision because I can take my camera and go to the estuary to walk.
That is where I was today when I spotted this kingfisher. It was sitting on one end of a large tree branch that has fallen into the water. The tide was well out and there was no water close by so it must have just been resting.
