Solved another issue that had been bugging me for a long while at work. We gather system metrics again. And we can display them. It wasn't that hard in the end.

My second attempt at computing the reduced panorama failed again right at the end. The output tiff suspiciously stopped exactly at 4GB. It looks like normal tiff files only support sizes up to 4GB. There is the big Tiff library which most hugin tools (in their latest version) support. Well, now that I know the problem I will recompute the panorama for the expected crop. It's now made of 65 individual frames. Hopefully, that will work.
