Back to the 80's!!!

Excuse the emergency blip, sorry!! RichieBoo has been blipping pictures of Sunderland including some illuminations in Roker Park and it reminded me of the ones in the 80's. the top picture is the tap that they had in the middle of the lake, constantly gushing water and with no obvious visible support!! The bottom pic shows the lights along the sea front. At the forefront is where you could come onto the beach through the tunnel from the park.
