Little twig

This little chap was on my car windscreen this morning and only just escaped being knocked off/ squashed by a windscreen wiper.  Just in time we realised it was a beautiful sleeping moth so relocated him to a nearby tree.

Unfortunately he doesn't seem to have moved since this morning, though I'm hoping he will fly away tonight.

Another week of GCSEs over,- it's like a sanity endurance test with one more week to go.  After two exams today Sam has come home for a towel and has gone off to jump in the river with his friends - they need to let off steam.  It will be quite chilly so I expect to see them soonish for a set of dry clothes....
