Smoky Lonnen

What's not to love about this time of year? Halloween and Bonfire Night have all the fun of Christmas, but none of the pressure, and they call for tasty food like toffee apples and chilli. Not a dry piece of turkey in sight.

Tonight, rather than head straight for the kitchen to cook dinner, I took a walk around the streets to see what was going on. They were chilly, smoky, and noisy and it was this picture that captured them best.
