Thistle Do Nicely

A hectic day with Mrs madwill departing at 7 a.m. to go to Oundle for her TV appearance. It seems to have gone very well - sales ahead of expectation at the end of the show and still the repeat to come.

I took Finlay out just after 7:30 and spotted this thistle flower beginning to emerge - I quite liked the contrast of the spikes and hairs.

I then had to go and open up the studio for a group that was booked in to use it today - and sold a bit of fabric whilst I was there.

The back home and spent the rest of the day packing fabric into bundles and printing off patterns to send out next week.

Back to the studio in the afternoon to close up and sold a fair bit more more fabric!

Tomorrow and Monday promise to busy packing up orders from the TV show.
