DS#2 in a right paddy

Things went more to plan today.
We meandered over the western end of the Pyrenees into Spain taking in some old Costa Brava haunts before heading to Tarragona with its impressive Roman remains. I particularly liked the Roman aqueduct ( I always thought it was spelled aquaduct until spell check corrected me) that is literally on the edge of the motorway.
DS#2 arrived at the railway station on time fresh (?) from DSBs stag weekend. On then to the Ebro delta and our first planned Airbnb house in the middle of a paddyfield, DS#2 sitting proudly by it.
Unsurprisingly no English spoken by anyone nearby but much sign language seemed to have worked.
An evening's bird drive was followed by settling into a local variant on paella in a nearby restaurant. Good birds, not so sure about the paella.
