More autumn colours

The colours are one of the main reasons I love this time of year. That and all the birthdays and the prospect of Christmas around the corner and the excuse for cosy nights in front of a fire and wooly jumpers and boots.

As ever after a week out of the term-time routine and a lovely weekend away it was a little slow to get started this morning. Fortunately we can get ourselves out of the house on auto pilot. Well, apart from Carl who forgot to take a coat which turned out to be a mistake.

Apart from that the rest of the day was lovely in its normalness. If purple carrots turn up for a 3rd week running in our veg box tomorrow they may start to qualify as normal.
