Fireworks

We didn't go to the fireworks. It was too cold and late for Alexander, although next door did start a display just as I was putting him to bed.

We went to meet my friend Amanda in the Botanic Gardens and then had lunch, then back to the Gardens again. Alexander ranged far and wide inside the 'jungle' and outdoors, kicking the leaves and chasing pigeons, while we chatted. It was flippin freezing first thing but nice in the sun.

I thought these were nice autumnal colours, anyway. You can see a small boy in the background.
