Welsh Poppy

No time to do much with the Wildlife Trust's 30 days Wild Challenge today. The best I could do was to go out and take a quick snap of whatever was growing wild under my privet hedge. And here it is - a Welsh Poppy. 

It's the local club / gala day today, and I've been working and listening to live music. It's been playing all day. It's on at the cricket club, but there is no need for me to go round. I can hear it loud and clear in my own living room. I will go round later though to support the club. They need to make loads of money for a new mower or to get the old one repaired.
