an optical "wtf?"

it snowed today, and properly too, hurrah! tho in between it melted quite a lot :-( maybe it'll snow overnight and be wonderful when i get up tomorrow for my day off and have time to take lots of pix... here's hoping, anyway.

tho i did get one or two nice ones today (and i saw a fox padding around the canongate kirkyard) at lunchtime in the blizzard - there may be a link at some point...

oh, and offtopic: congrats to N&E for *finally* naming the day!
