Breeze

My best friend gave me a voucher for a hawk walk with Settle Falconry for my birthday a while back and today was the day we went to redeem it. It's been a wonderful day, perfect for a walk in the countryside and Breeze the buzzard thought so too. They only ever take up to 4 people, and we were lucky enough for it to be just the two of us today. 
We spent a good 90 minutes flying both Breeze and later Lucy the Harris Hawk(extra), and then had a drink at Elaine's tearoom afterwards. 
We went to Kirkby Lonsdale for lunch, a lovely walk by the river and an ice cream, and then home again. 
I can't thank my friend enough and the weather Gods for smiling nicely on us today. It's been a brilliant day.
