Flowers again

Central Market advertised a sale on peony bunches, and since I love those flowers, I stopped in to buy some.  When I saw how open and even overblown they were, I knew there would be no point in taking them home.  But they were lovely to photograph.  When I got outside, I saw that the dogwoods in the parking lot were in bloom, so I took some photos of them as well (Extra.)

Today being my volunteer day, I learned that my Vietnamese student had in fact followed the links I sent him to watch the video of the Radcliffe Day celebration of Hillary Clinton.  He really enjoyed it, because it was a chance to hear English spoken properly and well, and by people with something to say that made sense.  I love that reaction.
