She?s a bit late for the flowers!

Can you believe it, November 5th, and this Pale Clouded Yellow (Colias hyale) was flying and then settling, on the bank at the back of our garden after lunch. It was quite warm there and she kept herself out of the wind. She saved my blip day because I forgot to turn off the settings I had been using on my camera yesterday and got a whole series of very *arty" photos with the wrong exposures this morning without realising it till I looked at them on the screen. Thank you, little butterfly.
