Racing away

The garden is blooming and burgeoning with new growth both cultivated and natural. The first gooseberries of the season were picked to make a sauce to accompany tonight's sewin (sea trout) and while out there I spotted this ash tree newly caparisoned with dryads' saddles as if all ready for the off.
