The Return of the Ibis

We've had a lot more heavy rain today and some minor flooding occurred in our area because of the deluge. Took Toto for a walk late this afternoon when it was all over in the hope there was a photo in it but it had all mostly drained away fairly quickly.

The Ibis have returned to the lake in full force and because the island is flooded they are sitting around in all the trees or wherever they can find a dry spot. This one very kindly posed for me, turning his head this way and that! Perhaps he was looking at the lady Ibis flying past ;o)
