Stoned!

So, guess where we were last night . . . .Correct.
Started in town, at 14:00 hrs, with a pub lunch and a wee swally.   Pub crawled in some familiar venues, and some not so.  West side publicans must have made a mint judging from the crowds both inside and outside, and the mess left behind on every available ledge.  Empty glasses and fast food containers everywhere.   I blame the incomers from Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Glasgow, Dundee etc, 'cos we Edinburgers wouldn't soil our city with litter, would we?  ;-)

The Stones started up at the back of 8pm and did almost two hours.  Excellent show.    Where Mick J gets his energy from one can only but wonder . . . . . . 

Not convinced of the worth of a concert in such a large venue but the sixty odd thousand audience seemed to enjoy it immensely.    Personally, I think I preferred the 1969 Hyde Park (free) concert more although I have to admit I don't remember much of that glorious day.
