Time Capsule

Travelling to Torpoint again today I was up early and out. Unfortunately heavy traffic meant a sixty-five mile journey took almost two hours.
I did what I needed to for Manolo and then went off to see Sarah for coffee and wait for Anais to arrive home from school before setting off for home at around 4:30.
Torpoint - a town that time forgot, more of a population centre than a town as it has virtually no shops or amenities. What it has always had is a kind of love hate relationship with the Navy, I remember as a young apprentice the running fights with locals for no other reason than “we were there”, yet our presence and those at HMS Raleigh guaranteed Torpoint’s survival.
Anyway, home and then out for another RBL Meeting!
