The Chameleons Vox

I never thought I would get to see this band, or a gig dedicated to one of my favourite albums - script from the bridge. Wow they were amazing. Very loud, the mosh pit was rocking and everyone was very sweaty. Mark Burgess was every bit the leadman, engaging with crowd and seemed truly appreciative of our delight in watching and listening to him.

Before the gig we had dinner in Mildred’s - a veggie cafe which was quite nice, although the fries were disgusting. A little bit of excitement on the route home when we got to Kings Cross to find all trains home were cancelled. Then discovered we could get to Hitchin and bus from there. The train was so packed I think they relented and let the train run to Peterborough phew!
