More Lupins - plus Len and Basil
We returned to Whatton Gardens this afternoon. The Spring show of flowers has faded away and much of the undergrowth has been strimmed back, but the long border is coming into its own (see extra) full of old varieties of hardy geraniums.
On the way out, we spotted these lupins at the end of the path. Bought two small irises in the nursery and then enjoyed excellent tea and cake in the tea room. There was even fresh gluten free fruit cake.
Nicely warm.
