Pembrokeshire Day 2
,After an excellent night's sleep Michael poured over maps and local information in the comfort of the delightful surroundings of our holiday accomodation. We decided to tackle a short stretch of the Coastal Path down into Fishguard only a few miles away. An extra shows him setting off with a spring in his step. It turned out to be a little arduous for his 80 year old legs. The "ups" were fine, it was the "downs" wot did 'im in! I, on the other hand turned a nasty shade of beetroot under the glorious sun every time we conquered an "up". Eventually we clambered up into Fishguard and grabbed a table and chair in the first pub we could find that would serve us a Sunday Lunch.
To our everlasting shame we called a taxi back and were acutely embarrassed at how short the journey was!
Lovely, lovely day with wonderful views of the locality. Another extra is Fishguard lower town.
