Strawberries on the lawn....

Shipley Open Gardens again today and what a glorious day for it, and the most pleasant of folk welcoming strangers to their little secret gardens.
One chap invited me to take my shoes off and walk barefoot across his immaculately mowed lawn, which I did whilst smelling his heavenly roses.
And then in another garden we had elderflower cordial whilst lying on my back on their lawn, breathing in the scent of their flowers.  That's the garden where George the tortoise was, and he was being spoilt rotten.

This evening, I have a date with Mr Poldark, I do hope he's been behaving himself! :)
