Three (tomorrow)

We celebrated George's 3rd birthday with tea today.

George has known for some time that he had a Birthday coming up. At the combined 18th, 21st and 50th birthday party last weekend, George assumed the tiered cake was for him and was mortified when he saw others blowing out the candles. He was so disappointed and embarassed at his mistake that he hid face.

It was with great excitement that he sat before his caterpiller cake today and as we sang to him he began to look more and more perturbed. He relaxed when he was given the chance to blow out the candle twice.
