Beached

A nice leisurely start to today after last night's fun. After a good breakfast, we were headed in the direction of Bristol but with a bit of time in hand, we popped down to the sea at Pendine Sands. Annie had a quick paddle whilst I ambled around with a camera. It was a beautiful day and apparently the sea was very warm!

Back on the road, we got to Bristol for lunch to celebrate a 50th birthday with a work colleague. It was a good Sunday roast although we regretted our breakfast when we saw the portion size for lunch. Then it was back on the road again for home. A nasty looking incident on the M4 saw us parked up on the motorway for 30 minutes between Chippenham and Swindon but we were home for 7 and a hungry Leonard waiting for his tea.
