Thistle Head
The breeze has returned, so that means pedalling downhill. At the moment the wind is mostly easterly and not the usual prevailing west wind. So the effort is required where it should be easiest, but the harder bit is easier as it blows you up the final climb.
Still breezy at lunchtime, but it feels very warm in the sunshine. To get this thistle, I have to hold the stem and take the photo with one hand. As the light is good,it doesn't matter too much.
A nice ride home again, but as with the morning, the first bit is in to the wind, before heading up hill, with a little assistance from the breeze. Very warm and quite muggy.
