Hawk Moths?
These pair are doing a great job of hiding in the backgarden.
Took me a while to actually spot them, first thinking they were some dead leaves.
In terms of dead leaves, or lack of them, the birch has been attacked by saw fly larvae (again).
They've started at the top, so I can't reach them; and the tree is also covered in lots of ladybird lava (so I can't spray it).
Why isn't there some birds that want to eat all those juicy looking caterpillars!!!
