Happy Birthday FIL!

Greg, Janet and Brendan's dad, Noel, is eighty-seven and looks very content with his lot. Ok, a few bits may creak and grown but hey, still here guys... We had a lovely day with him and his two UK based children, and in the afternoon his son in the USA videoconferenced through, which was great. And thanks Greg and Cath for another splendid spread.

Greg and I also had a go, in vain thus far, at getting our motorcycle helmets to communicate with each other. It's not a vital aspect of the forthcoming tour, but sometimes it's useful to speak rather than gesticulate madly from atop the beasties. I've got a Scala Rider Q3 bolted onto my lid and he's got a Schuberth thing built into his C3 helmet. If anyone has any ideas...

And the plan for Scotland is firming up nicely. We will be generally
on Islay 25th - 28th July busy exploring more distilleries
on Mull 29th July exploring the coast road and landscape
in Oban 30th July and open to anyone fancying a blipmeet
The trip back will involve a family visit or two and then it's time to think about next year...

Anyhow. Happy birthday to the father-in-law. Thanks for mentioning that job vacancy all those years ago. Without which I may still be at work! LOL.
